Youth Programs
New Life Youth Programs will be for recreational and social opportunities for
youth in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana and surrounding communities. The mission
of the Youth Programs is to provide youth and their families with positive experiences
and the necessary tools to achieve success in their lives. Ultimately, we desire to
provide a place where young people can build lasting, positive change in their lives".
Also, to promote social and economic change within the community which is designed
to benefit at risk youth, and other members in our communities.
Our commitment is to provide support for each individual and their aspirations towards
a positive future. All children need someone who will listen to them, stand by them,
and help them develop to their fullest potential. New Life Family Center
intends to provide new life to the community.
Our mission is to:
Foster, and reinforce positive values, habits and lifestyles upon which youth
will be able to build their lives and communities. The desired outcome is to replace
trouble, difficulty, and dysfunction in the lives of youth with the hope of God.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11)
New Life Youth Center Goals

To encourage youth to have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

To provide a safe environment where kids can learn and have fun.

To provide a positive peer culture encouraging mature attitudes.

To model and teach a moral value system that profits the youth as well as fellow members
of the community.

To provide youth with an opportunity to discover, develop, and use their unique talents
and gifts.

To provide a means of making "first-contact" with youth who are experiencing problems.

To provide proactive intervention in the lives of teens who are deemed to be "at risk"

To provide healthful eating and physical activity programs to prevent and control
obesity and other chronic diseases
We plan to fully develop the community's involvement with New Life Family Center
including volunteers, as well as professional, spiritual, and financial support. The
facility will be equipped with an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, gym, theatre,
library, multipurpose rooms, art room, game room, computer lab, bowling alley, coffee
shop, and food court.
